During Nuce International 2011, Wednesday 5 October at 15:45 in the Workshop Area of Pavilion 1, the award ceremony of the VII Farmaffari-Pharmaffairs Marketing Prize, for the best advertising regarding the health industry, will take place. The importance of advertising is closely connected not only to its function of communication, but also its ability to excite and move, as well as to influence. The Prize, set up in 2005, is aimed at evaluating the advertising that, leaving behind traditional ideas, is closer to the main principle of marketing and is made up of distinct sections: institutional advertising, pharmaceutical products – OTC, cosmetic products and food supplements - No Profit advertising.

At Nuce International 2011 the winning advertising of the previous editions will be on show and, during the ceremony, the prestigious and artistic book “Pianeta salute” will be presented, and which is a collection of the best historical advertising from the end of the 1800s to 1960 regarding pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and health food, which will be awarded to the winning companies.

The award ceremony will be chaired by Michele Carruba, teacher of pharmacology at the Statale University of Milan, a member of the scientific committee of the Milan Expo 2015, and already member of the Control Committee of Iap - Istituto di Advertising Self-Discipline.

The event will close with a gala evening at the Press Club - Palazzo Bocconi, corso Venezia. Milan, at 20.00.
